Be Prepared! Be Safe!
Apologies in advance for multiple emails but wanted to share more valuable information with you! Consider this your September newsletter.
We have already sent you a list of contacts in the last newsletter and a short preparation list (yesterday), anticipating it might come to this.
We are doing our best to keep these to a minimum but want to share information we believe you may find relevant.
Stay tuned to local news and briefings from the Governor when they commence for updates on local conditions, especially as it relates toevacuations. As you read this, a state of emergency may have already been declared for the state. There is a link attached to the evacuation zone map if you are still unsure (final bullet). We have found the most up to date information coming from News4Jax but all the local stations are providing such--stay tuned as much as you can! Rather than barrage you with more tips here, there is a plethora of checklists and suggestions on the internet and social media--you probably know most of it by now but if you want it, email marketing and we will gladly forward to you. A few important reminders:
- Should you need to evacuate, please shut off, at the source, all power, gas and water lines such as breaker panels, hot water heaters, emergency gas shut valves, etc. At the very least, unplug small appliances
- Remember to bring inside/secure any items on patios, balconies, etc. that could become projectiles. Leave NO loose items outside.
As soon as possible after the event, contact FPM Properties and/or
maintenance to report any condition status needing attention and/or your whereabouts if out of the area
We will keep updating you with what we believe to be relevant for as long as we can! STAY SAFE, FOLLOW EVACUATION ORDERS (if they come) The FPM Properties Team
